In order to optimally support the numerous SCM and CRM activities, the Egger group with its 16 locations in Austria, Germany, Great Britain, France, Russia and Romania focuses on standards. Therefore Egger supports the information platform for our partners in trade and industry. This should and can reduce the effort for data exchange (EDI) to a minimum. These arranged standards of the information portal providers not only comprise the classic order processing, order response, despatch advice, invoice and payment data, but should also be trend-setting for portal information (catalogue data). This paves the way for the optimisation of the supply chain. Only in this way topics like ECR, CPFR (see glossary) become possible.
